to check out the sand-sational creations, decorations, and activities everyone has
been kelp-ing each other to create.

The Castle Community Hub will be open as per normal trading hours on October 31st 2024.

Open from 9am to 3pm including the half day Public Holiday; on Jacaranda Thursday for our community members who usually attend on Thursdays as a part of their schedule of supports.

The Caringa Workshop and Garden at 1 Orara Street, Grafton will be CLOSED for the entirety of Thursday, October 31st; reopening 8am Friday 1st Nov.

The Vault at 103 92-98 Harbour Drive, Coffs Harbour will be OPEN as per normal on Thursday, October 31st.

Friday 25th October

Our CEO of JaCaringa; Leon was on the ground for Day 1 of the Festival, checking out the official River Dreaming opening event.
“Market Square is looking radiant this morning, and we are blessed to meet and live on Bundjalung, Gumbaynggirr and Yaegl lands. River Dreaming from 10am till 2pm today is a celebration of culture on Country.”

Saturday 2nd November

Parade begins at 5pm

Prince Street, Grafton

β›΅ πŸ¦‘ 🦐 πŸ€πŸ’œπŸŸπŸ πŸ‘πŸŒŠπŸ¦‘πŸͺΈ

Spectators are encouraged to bring a chair or rug and nab a spot along Prince Street from 4pm to view the procession as it moves from the River end of Prince Street towards Market Square.

If you are interested in joining the Caringa Float (access options; bus, car and walkers holding a banner), or would like to volunteer to decorate, support or cheer. The Caringa Community, staff, Members, family and friends are encouraged to meet at Castle Hub at 144 Fitzroy Street to be included.

Saturday 2nd November

From 7.00pm

Market Square, Prince Street Grafton

All Caringa Community, staff, members, family and friends are welcome to join us on the dance floor in Market Square after the Procession, to dance the day done with The Ninth Chapter.

See if you can spot some familiar faces on stage, and join the JaCaringa Community on a diverse musical journey of funk and groove
