The Caringa community have been saddened at the passing of Caringa stalwart, patron and community champion Vince Castle this week.
Vince is, and always will be, an integral part of Caringa’s proud history and he legacy will continue to be remembered as our building, The Castle Centre, pays tribute to a lifetime of dedication from a truly exceptional man.
Vince’s passion for family saw him involved in fundraising efforts for the ‘Caringa School’ in 1953 and as Chairman of Caringa’s Board of Directors from 1998 to 2012, Vince’s commitment to the delivery of disability supports in the Clarence Valley was integral in creating the Caringa people know and love today, 70 years after the school first opened it’s doors.
Vale Vince.
