Introducing Caringa’s new Board Member, Peter Grainger!

What does ‘A Complete Life’ mean to you?

‘A Complete Life’ to me is finding the right balance between family, friends and work whilst striving to be the best person I can be.

What is your professional background?

My background has ranged from local government, private enterprise, business owner and predominantly in local Real Estate as a Sales Agent and currently as a Commercial Manager with Dougherty Property.

Why did you join the Caringa Australia Board?

I have lived and worked in Grafton my whole life, aside from being heavily involved in gaining development approval and subsequent funding of the Minnie Water/Wooli Surf Club’s clubhouse, I felt it was time I gave back to my local community which has given me so much over the years.  So when I was approached to join the board of Caringa Australia, it was an easy decision for me.

What is your favourite thing about being involved in the Caringa Community?

I’m really only just getting started, but for me if we can be involved with and have a positive impact on not only our clients lives, but that of our staff as well.

Do you have a message for Caringa staff, clients and client representatives at this time?

I look forward to meeting and engaging with the whole of our Caringa Family in the coming months.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I like spending time with my family, especially my grandson Banks, spending time with my friends, cycling, running and going to the beach.
