Why did you join the Caringa Australia Board?
I joined the Caringa Australia Board to learn more about the Disability sector. In my professional life, I often deal with people with disabilities and would like to have a better understanding of how I can assist them. Also, Caringa has had a reputation as being a trusted organisation for many years in our local community and I am pleased to be able to contribute.
What is your professional background?
I completed a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management in 2005 and went on to work in a number of different HR roles primarily in the banking sector both in London and Sydney. I began studying law whilst continuing to work in Sydney. However, I decided to return to Grafton in 2016 when an opportunity came up to work for my father, a local solicitor. I completed a Bachelor of Laws in 2017 and have now taken over my father’s business.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy reading, getting outdoors, particularly going to the beach, travelling and spending time with family.
